Refund Policy for The Canyoneer Inn

At The Canyoneer Inn, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. We strive to be fair and transparent with our refund policy while also protecting our commitment to our guests and maintaining the operational efficiency of our Inn.

Please review the following policy carefully. By making a reservation with The Canyoneer Inn, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Cancellation Policy

The eligibility for a refund depends on the timing of your cancellation relative to your scheduled check-in date:

  • Cancellations Made 14 Days or More Before Check-in:

    • Guests are eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount.

    • Any non-refundable deposits (if applicable) will be retained.

  • Cancellations Made Less Than 7 Days Before Check-in:

    • No refund will be issued for cancellations made within this period.

    • The total booking amount will be charged.

  • Non-Refundable Rates/Promotions:

    • Some special rates, promotions, or packages may be explicitly stated as non-refundable at the time of booking. For these bookings, no refund will be issued regardless of the cancellation notice period. This will be clearly communicated during the reservation process.

2. Booking Platform Policy vs. Direct Bookings

Please note that The Canyoneer Inn utilizes various booking platforms (e.g., Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia). If your reservation was made through a third-party booking platform, their specific cancellation and refund policies will apply and supersede the policy outlined here. Please refer to the terms and conditions provided by the platform through which you made your booking for their applicable refund policy.

This Refund Policy for The Canyoneer Inn applies strictly to reservations made directly through our official website (thecanyoneerinn.com) or via direct communication with our staff (e.g., email or phone reservations not facilitated by a third-party platform).

3. No-Shows

  • If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification (a "no-show"), the entire booking amount will be charged, and no refund will be issued. The reservation will be cancelled for the remaining nights.

4. Early Departures

  • No refunds will be given for early departures. Once a guest has checked in, the full amount for the reserved stay is considered utilized, regardless of an early check-out.

5. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our official booking portal (if applicable).

To request a cancellation:

  • Please include your booking reference number, name, and check-in/check-out dates in your request.

Verbal cancellation requests will not be accepted.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within [Number] business days from the date of approval.

  • The refund will be issued to the original method of payment used for the booking. Please note that it may take additional time for the funds to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

  • Any processing fees charged by banks or payment gateways for the refund transaction may be deducted from the refunded amount.

  • In cases of unavoidable circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government travel restrictions, pandemics, or other acts of God) that directly prevent travel or the operation of the Inn, The Canyoneer Inn may, at its sole discretion, offer alternative arrangements such as rebooking credits or partial refunds. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The Canyoneer Inn reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
